|Let me tell you something about me.
I'm from Huntington Beach, Ca. I got my first guitar when I was 8 years old. At 19 years old I started my first band and through my twenties I played with various bands with modest success. My true niche, I found in my later 20's, was playing solo, at various places throughout So. Cal.
I played all types of music (acoustic rock, blues, country, folk, originals and covers) and any music that appealed to me and could entertain where I was playing. During this time I was raising a young family and running a construction company. I made several attempts in the Los Angeles music scene with demo records & showcases, but had no success with landing a record deal. I did have some strong interest from some major labels, but nothing came about.
Frustrated with the local music scene, trying to write cool songs, playing gigs that got old, while trying to raise a family; I put my music on hold (or at least trying to make a living at it). Through the years, I continued raising my family, ran my plumbing company, surfed as much as I could, lived my life, played my music, and wrote many, many songs.
At some point, approximately 3 years ago, I decided to get back into the music scene. Some people buy sports cars or fancy boats, start sky diving, or riding bulls; I decided to play, record and perform music again. Not for money, but for the love of music and the challenge it offers. If money comes my way through music, great! If some people dig my tunes and albums I make, or enjoy my live shows, that's even better.
What becomes of my music, "I Don't Know".
